Microsoft Excel Shortcuts

Microsoft Excel is a powerful application for spreadsheet processing and an indispensable tool widely used around the world to run businesses to personal finance. Whether you’re an Excel power user or an everyday user, we have put together 25 Excel keyboard shortcuts to make your spreadsheet processing easy.  

  1. Ctrl + A:  Select the entire workspace. 
  2. Ctrl + C:  This will copy the selected data.
  3. Ctrl + V: This will paste the data you copied. 
  4. Ctrl + x: cut the selected data. 
  5. Ctrl + B: apply (on/off) bold formatting. 
  6. Ctrl + I: Apply (on/off) italics formatting. 
  7. Ctrl + U: Apply (on/Off) underline formatting. 
  8. Ctrl + F: Find text or formatting within the current workbook. 
  9. Ctrl + H: Find and replace text or formatting within the current workbook. 
  10. Ctrl + Home: Highlight from the current cell back to column A of the row. 
  11. Ctrl + 1: Format Cells dialog box. 
  12. Ctrl + K: Insert hyperlink. 
  13. Ctrl + G: Go to a specific field. 
  14. F2: Edit current Cell. 
  15. F7: Spell check. 
  16. F11: Create a chart from current data. 
  17. Ctrl + End: This will take you to the last cell of your data. 
  18. Ctrl + Home: Similar to the Ctrl + End, but this will take you to the first cell of your data. 
  19. Ctrl + Up Arrow: will take you to the first cell of your active column
  20. Ctrl + Down Arrow: will take you to the last cell of your active column
  21. Ctrl + Space bar: Will select current column. 
  22. Shift + Space: will select row(s) of your active cell(s). 
  23. Ctrl + Minus sign:  Will give you the Delete dialog box. 
  24. Ctrl + Shift + Home: Highlights from the current cell back to A1. 
  25. Ctrl + Shift + End: Highlights from the current cell to the last cell.
